Faculty of Foundry Engineering educates specialists for the whole area of foundry technology and it is the only one faculty of this profile and scope within the universities in Poland and Europe.
The Faculty was established in 1951/1952 by merging of three departments incorporated so far in the Faculty of Metallurgy
